Who we are
Kinections Dancegroup is a Pre-Professional Level Company for dancers ages 12-22. The focus of the company is to provide unique and individualized training to dancers in an effort to expand a dancer’s technique, innovative thinking, and general approach to dance. Dancers will train extensively to learn advanced technique and repertory from some of the most exciting emerging and credited educators and resident guest choreographers. Our goal is to cultivate the next generation of young artists, providing them with the necessary artistic skill set to prepare them for professional/college careers.
Classes and rehearsals are specifically designed to provide each dancer with a wide range of contemporary genres and choreographic processes to develop and enhance their craft. We commit to provide exceptional training, mentorship, career development, community engagement, and performance opportunities to aid in a dancer’s confidence and personal trajectories.
Our recent graduates and current company members have been accepted into reputable dance programs/conservatories including but not limited to, Marymount Manahattan College, University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), Fordham University, Adelphi University, Hofstra University, Eglevsky Ballet, School of American Ballet.
Company Requirements
Dancers will be responsible to maintain their training throughout the season to ensure their technique and performances are executed to the best of their ability.

Season runs September-May, 20 rehearsals in total (Sundays only)
